#AskTheExpert my 5 months old daughter is struggling with cough and cold from past ten days ... my pediatrician gave me cifraxine and Azithromycin syrup... but it didn't work .. yesterday he done chest x-ray and suggested CEFTRIAXONE & TAZOBACTAM For Injection CEFOPROX XP - 500 Mg injection for 5 days...one of my relatives told this is heavy dose for 5 months baby ... pls suggest me .. i m attaching her x - ray report ....

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. needs inhalation therapy along with proper medicines for further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management
