A. bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pus will come out from it and after that it will become a scar mark. you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the dchild. also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.

A. After vaccination child may become irritable. give painkiller as prescribed by paediatrician. apply ice on the injection site intermittently. feed on demand. carry, soothe your child the side effects associated with the  vaccine are generally mild. The most common are pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site.   swelling will reduce on its own. you may apply ice on it for first 2 days to relieve pain. Thanks and take care
