#AskTheExpert My 5 month baby weight is 5.5kg. He is taking both breastfeeding and aptamil formula feed of 450ml. Also taking vitamin d3 and iron drops. kindly advice necessary steps for weight gain.

A. what's his birth weight? feed as often as they seem hungry or want comforted, offer more breastfeeds, feed from both breasts at each breastfeed. once visit ur doctor. tc

A. Hi mommy Weight is absolutely normal At six months weight should be double to birth weight The more u feed the more milk secretion will be there Have shatavari tablet with warm milk twice a day to increase bm Take care The more relaxed you are while breastfeeding, the better your milk will flow. Make sure your chair or bed is comfortable and try to remove any distractions. For example, turn off your phone or put a ‘do not disturb’ sign on your door. Have a glass of water on hand for yourself too.
