#AskTheExpert My 4 yr old son has been struggling with potty since past week. He has to put a lot of pressure and potty is usually hard. Have tried suppositories it was affective for 2 days but not any more.. please recommend any syrup for constipation

Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Specially give papaya banana oats fennel seeds water it will help in decreasing constipation and even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that thejdjfj problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool
