#AskTheExpert my 3 months old BM baby pooped greyish today. is this normal? He sometimes take fm when bm supply is very low due to medicines.

A. grey stool is not normal, u need to keep watch on every stool color. if she is passing all grey stool , it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

A. Both breastfed and formula-fed babies produce these black stools at first. One of the most common times for a baby to have green stool is when meconium transitions to regular baby stool. As the stool goes from black to yellow, there are often some dark green stools for a day or two.
