#AskTheExpert my 3 month older responds to different direction when people calls him out but sometimes he makes eye contact nd do blabers but sometimes he doesnt make eye contact, he is active otherwise like i feel he is over active,always busy in exploring roof top, fan etc when held in upright position, he is very happy when fan is on. this is all normal right!!!

compared to their 1st month, when they only focus on objects about a foot away, babies three or four months of age have better color perception and can start to make out other objects besides faces, like toys.
by 4 months, they should also start to show more conscious behavior like reaching for their toys and smiling deliberately at you when you make eye contact.
babies might show a reflexive smile, grinning for no apparent reason, from birth, but between 4 weeks to 4 months, they'll develop a socials smile, either responding to another person or trying to get someone else to smile at them.

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello baby being small it is normal and is absolutely nothing to worry and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
