#AskTheExpert My 3 month old Baby has a fever for 101 F from yesterday. The fever comes back every 6 hours. I have given him babygesic drops then in an interval of 6 hours. Yesterday he was crying all the time. But today he appears tired and is sleeping more. Also he passed urine only two times since last 12 hours. My pediatrician said me to continue babygesic drops and come for follow up only if fever doesn't goes away after two days. Is there something to worry about babys conditon now?

A. Thank you doctor. My doctor also gave corminic drops for cold. Should corminic drops be given after feed? How much intervel should given between corminic drops and babygesic drops?

A. yes follow Dr advice your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fever have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctor please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.
