#AskTheExpert My 3.5 month old baby is constantly sucking his fingers. Is there something I need to do about it or leave it as it is.

A. if baby putting finger in mouth so it's very Normal finding and you should not worry regarding this thing but still you can contact with your doctor for a proper confirmation regarding your query and a proper guidance.

A. Finger sucking is common in babies. Babies suck their fingers to pacify themselves. Please do not worry. This habit goes away on its own and sometimes finger sucking is a way by which babies express their hunger or to show that they are sleepy. They also love to explore their body parts.
