#AskTheExpert My 2 months baby is not passing stools from the last 7 days, is it common? or need to consult a pediatrician. Do you suggest any change in the diet of mother?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been stguarted after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medicationsf are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl2 years agoA. hi please don't get panic it is normal nothing to worry about it please give plenty of breastfeeds as you are nursing mother, eat easy to digest food give massage to your child daily which definitely help to ease bowlmovements
