#AskTheExpert my 2 months baby is having cradle cap and having lot of hair fall can you please suggest what can I do to reduce

A. Hi Mom, Cradle cap is normal in newborn babies and nothing to worry about that. Cradle cap usually clears up within the first year. The problem will go away on its own over time. But most parents prefer treatment because it usually helps reduce or get rid of the problem. Consult your doctor for medicated shampoo for your baby. Use a soft bristled brush to gently remove the scales from the scalp. Shampoo baby's hair often. Apply baby oil to the scalp after shampooing.
