Q.

#AskTheExpert my 2 month daughter sleeps like 4 hours in night , so if i give breastfeed after 4 hour will it br ok or need to wake up in every 2 hours ?

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child xis taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity witxh intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .

A. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 montths of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantileyu colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.
