Q.

#asktheexpert My 19month old is loosing hairs. I can see few hairs on pillow after he gets up and towel after hair wash. Is it normal?

A. hair fall at this age can be due to some type of allergy or sensitivity of the skin in the scalp. it may be also related to a fungal infection which might cause hair loss. nutritional deficiency is also one of the cause causing hair loss. maintain hygiene and do regular hair washing. meet your doctor to find exact cause of hair loss and proper treatment and need of suppldements and give proper nutritious diet for hair growth

A. 15 into 20 strands or little maybe more than that is totally normal in any age 4 to fall but it’s not considered helpful if it is more than that also then you can check with your doctor it could be due to deficiency of iron in the body
