#asktheexpert my 18 month daughter having blood in stool for two times till now.what to do?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Mostly blood in stool is present when baby is having constipation and passing regularly hard stools so you should increase more of liquid diet to the baby And include more of green leafy vegetables and fruits, which has fibers.
so increase liquids

it happens due to severe constipation or infection
so please keep your child well hydrated
give easily digestible food items like khichdi,soup, fruits like pear papaya plum banana etc more
avoid giving maida based food products
