A. To help baby gain height and weight, it is important to take care of the diet and feed fresh, home cooked, nutritious foods alongwith variety of fluids like water, fresh juices, curd, buttermilk and coconut water. Include fat and protein rich foods like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, eggs, chicken, fish, legumes, ghee, milkshakes with dry fruits, banana, avocado, paneer and 600-700 ml milk everyday. Feed main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks. Engage her in physical activities like jumping, running, climbing, cycling, swimming, hanging bars and other outdoor games. Restrict intake of sugar, fried and packaged foods and limit screen time.
