#asktheexpert my 12 years daughter got periods on Jan 15 but she missed her periods after that,is this normal?

A. Yes, it is normal for the child to skip her cycles. Usually the cycles will take 2 to 3 years from the date of starting to become regular. Also, educate the child about chances of pregnancy and sexual health beforehand.
