#asktheexpert my 11 month old daughter gets fever every every 1.5 -2 months. what should I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. it is very difficult to comment here without a proper examination so it is better to consult your doctor and get it properly physical examine and guidance accordingly for this matter to clear this...Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hoursgx if again required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
