#AskTheExpert my 10 day old baby birth weight 3.6 kg and now weight is 3.8 kg is it normal

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. its normal child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. give only breastmilk till completion of six months for healthy growth and weight gain

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Yes the weight of ur baby is fine. Babies they loose their weight in the initial days after birth. But the weight start to increase after that. So no need to worry. Feed after every 2-3 hours interval or when demanded by the baby for weight gain.
