#AskTheExpert my 1 month old son started breastfeeding with correct latch 3 days back and he is having stool with water at night. he did it 6 times since last night. is it matter of serious concern?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. need proper examination as she is too young.. Do Consult your paedritician if stool consistency is watery, foul smelling, more frequent, bloody, pee count is less than 5-6 times.
Newborn babies do pass 8- 10 times stool or once in 5-6 days are normal variation for this age .So don't worry if she is passing urine frequently, taking feed properly and active.No medication will help & is not needed also.
