#AskTheExpert my 1 month old baby's lips got dark at the edges. I'm exclusively breast feeding her. i observed this 2days back. is this fine? pls advice.

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. yes it's normal apply coconut oil or breast milk over it Take a well balanced nutritious diet add more fruits and vegetables in the diet add dry fruits powder in the diet maintain hygiene sterilize all the utensils thoroughly to avoid infection

Just clean the lips with soft damp cotton cloth after giving feed to your baby everytime.
Lips will be fine.
Exclusive breast feed ur baby till six months.
