#AskTheExpert My 1.3 year baby is experiencing fever at night The fever is high at night and when I give medicine it’s normal till morning and then no fever symptoms then the same fever is repeated after1-2 days. My baby has mild cold from last 15 days is that the reason for such fever or something else . How should I handle this situation..?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl3 years agoA. it may be viral .Fever is when the temperature is more then 99 degree . Paracetamol can be given for the fever every 6 hourly of fever is reoccurring frequently. Fever may be due to any viral infection so mostly will subside in 3 days other wise consult a doctor near by.
