#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko sir my daughter's birth weight was 3.5 kg now she is 10 month and 7 kg is this ok. she takes proper diet and active. but she is very thin and skinny

A. Hi Mom, as your baby is active and eating properly hence nothing to worry. you can include variety of homecooked foods along with breastfeeding like boiled and smashed potato, sprouts and pulses, smashed banana, chikko, seasonal and fresh fruits and vegetables, veg soup, nuts paste, porridge, milk shakes, paneer, soft cooked and smashed khichdi, smashed roti or paratha, etc. and use ghee in meal preparations. feed on regular intervals after 2 hours gap. maintain good hygiene avoid force feeding and overfeeding.

Hi mom Weight is absolutely normal At six months weight should be double to birth weight Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk Give seasonal fruits vegetables pulses whole grains milk products Take a good care of your baby Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
