#AskTheExpert #Mamypoko Good Morning.. my daughter Navya is 16 month old and she eats food similar to the one we eat. when should we start brushing her teeth and when to start using toothpaste and which one. thanks for help

A. hello mam you can start brushing that it now start with a soft finger based brush and later on move on to normal age appropriate toothbrush you can use any kids age appropriate toothpaste but make sure the amount of paste is not more than size of rice grain till the age of three years few examples are Colgate kids

A. Fluoride is a good thing in the right amount at the right developmental stage, but not during infancy. Start your little one on fluoride-free infant and toddler toothpaste, then when your dentist recommends switching to a fluoride toothpaste or when your child is around two years old.
