#AskTheExpert mam my baby poops green in colour. I have given banana to him. he is 7 month old.please help

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. it's fine.. not to worry for greeen stool. If the baby is fed with certain food substance like- green vegetables like spinach, peas, beans or broccoli in the form of purees or soups, the poop can be green. Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop. Imbalance in foremilk and hind milk also causes green stools.

Ru Also giving formula feeding to the child along with breastfeeding maybe that would be one of the reasons for green coloured motion because that’s the only reason most of the times if you have not given formula feeding still the motion is real then sometimes it is considered normal also
