#asktheexpert Madam, Hi my son is 20 months old. His weight is around 9.5 kgs. He likes only sweetened food mostly he eats chapati, home made cerealac with jaggery powder. Seldom he eats salt based food items. Is it ok to have so much ( three to four spoon ) jaggery powder in a day? and How to make him eat salt based food items??

A. If people do not know the jaggery and white sugar has equal amount of calories the only difference is the jaggery is still giving you Iron and all but still 4 teaspoons of jaggery per day is really very high second this is not enough for your child to eat your child should have proper roti Sabzi Dal rice regular meal that you and your family eat right now the food that you were giving is not actually enough for a child in the current age
