#AskTheExpert maaam my daughter is 6 month & 10 days old. her birth weight is 2.55kg . now after completing 6 month she is only 5.8 kg . what to do to increase weight gain

A. dear parent, weight of 5.8 kg is slightly on the lower side for your 6 months old baby. for healthy weight gain, you can give foods like porridges (like rice, Ragi, wheat flour , moong dal and rice flour mix) , kheer, dal-rice with vegetables, veg khichadi, soft mashed fruits, curd, paneer. Add ghee to every meal. give 2 to 3 meals in a day and up to half katori every time. continue breastfeeding.
