#AskTheExpert Ma'am.....my son is 8 yrs old...he is having ticks oroblem from 1 mnth...this is ths second time he is having it ..before this he has tics for around 2 months when he was 6yrs old in 2020... what shud i do???

A. Mam can you please guide how you are managing ur sons synptoms. Is he doing alright now. How long does this tic symptoms last

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 9 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Medications to help control tics or reduce symptoms of related conditions include: Medications that block or lessen dopamine. Fluphenazine, haloperidol (Haldol), risperidone (Risperdal) and pimozide (Orap) can help control tics. Possible side effects include weight gain and involuntary repetitive movements
