#asktheexpert Ma’am I had covid it’s been 18days when symptoms came first. My doc asked me to stop breastfeed baby when I was on treatment. And now am having mild coughing that too come after meal only. Now when can I resume breastfeeding. Thank you

Of course you can continue breastfeeding also I would like to tell you that the doctor is always advised to continue breastfeeding even if you are Covid positive because that will you build in an immunity into your child to fight against Covid infection at any point of
