#asktheexpert last Thursday baby had vaccination of 3 and half month but swelling is there for leg wt to do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you cafn apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Sunita MahatoMom of 3 children1 Year agoA. swelling is there it wl go off on its own in sometime u may rub ice cubes on the vaccination area to reduce the swelling ... u may gv calpol drps or crocin drps..fr fever take care
