sudeshMom of 4 children3 years agoA. My daughter is 3 years and 5 months old. She is suffering from cough and sometimes vomit with cough. Can I give her massage before bath to relax her?? She is taking the homeopathy treatment which is a slow process. Please suggest me some home remedies

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce thge fever and thjue dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
