#asktheexpert it's been five days since she was born. she is not latching directly from the mother breastfeeding

A. Hello my dear parent! A few babies have latching and sucking issues from birth. It is invisible to check with the lactation consultant and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene routine and follow your doctors advice. Just reduce your stress levels. Everything will be fine, good luck and take care.
