could you elaborate the term TEF as it can represent many different surgical problem.in new born it's tracheo esophageal fistula which is commonly repaired at birth itself

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. TEF is a congenital deformity where trachea and oesophagus are coneected like a leg of ladders and mostly the babies don’t survive or oprated immediately after birth they may have pneumonia and surgery has its pros and cons
