#AskTheExpert is it recommended to give my son suppliments like zincovid and vitamin d 3 syrups now that he is 17 months old and if yes how much quantity? he eats everything else as well so is giving suppliments now a good idea still?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. baby is 17 month if the baby us taking a well balanced diet supplement are not required give a well balanced nutritious diet add more fruits and vegetables in the diet add dry fruits powder in the diet maintain hygiene sterilize all the utensils thoroughly to avoid infection

Give supplements only if prescribed by the doctor as it is given if any deficiency is there..
Consult ur paediatrician for the same as he will guide you better in this situation after the proper evaluation of the baby
