Q.

#AskTheExpert Is it okay to use pacifiers for my 2 months old kid ? She is always putting her fingers or palms in her mouth. I was told by someone that usage of pacifiers will lead to buck teeth, is that true ? If we can use pacifiers,How long can we use ?

A. it is better to avoid pacifiers as pacifiers are habit forming and the habit is very difficult to break later. instead you can use the others to give to your baby to chew on them but make sure whatever the child puts in the mouth is always clean
