#asktheexpert Is it necessary to get tested a 2 yr old kid if she is not having any covid19 symptoms, her mother got positive 6 days before and has been isolated. What other precautionary actions to be taken for a kid.

A. See You go for want to go for a precautionary check up on a test then there is no harm in at least you’ll be sure that your child is safe and is not affected with COVID-19 apart from that if the mother has been isolated but you must be having symptoms previously and the child must have been in contact with her so it would be advisable to go ahead with it
