If You want to keep it hydrated then you can see some kids have very normal skin they do not need cream sometimes but people mostly apply cream to maintain hydration in the skin and the skin should be soft that is why otherwise if you do not want to use it it’s perfectly alright and it’s completely your choice so no issues at all
