#asktheexpert is it mandatory to provide iron supplements to toddlers. My son is 22 months old and I haven’t used them so far. Thank you

give him well balanced diet to avoid any nutrition deficiency.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It is not mandatory to give any iron supplements to the baby. Please give eggs and chicken to the baby. Also give chicken soup to the baby. Please give banana shake and ragi porrige to the baby. Please give lots of green vegetables and dairy products and soaked almonds to the baby on daily basis.
