#asktheexpert is it important for a baby to pass stool everyday. My baby is 5 months and 18 days old sometimes she regularly poops and sometimes after 3 4 or 5 days.

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 5.5 months old and if she doesn’t poop regularly every day then don’t worry some baby may poop after 8/10 days also so don’t worry

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. babies below the age of 6 months baby not passing stool regularly since there will be an exclusively milk feeding only e once baby is more than 6 months you can start weaning foods to the baby along with water and seasonal fruits
