#AskTheExpert is flu vaccine important every year for my baby ? and if yes please tell why it is imp ?

A. flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. the first first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 5 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is an optional vaccination and it is given for flu infection which most of the babies suffer during winter and it is up to you only and it is given for better immune system. Take care
