yes it is common
it is result of teething
so please rub your pointer finger on sore gums of your child or give silicone teether to chew,it will help to soothe sore and itchy gums.
and reduce drooling
keep your child mouth area clean ,use gentle wipes like Babyhug wipes to clean this.
