Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine basically protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children with less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . thzais vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required .
It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
s madaanMom of a 9 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. yes in the current scenario basically it is suggested to go ahead for all the vaccination is specially Influenza vaccination because it is helpful in kids to avoid the current virus and sometimes to recover them faster
