Q.

#asktheexpert infant of 5.5 months constipated for last 3 days after we started feeding her with cereal soup, is it normal ? How to provide relief as she is more cranky and weeping ?

A. Ideally, you have to start giving solids only after six months but if the child is having difficulty then consult a doctor, because there are a few things that the doctor can prescribe but that should be done based on the babies weight. Also

A. till 6 months comolete you should not give anything except for mother feeding or formula feed . then start with normal water and rice or daal water . then slowly other semisolid foods
