Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosed.
As the first line of treatment for relief you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syrup should be given only after a proper evaluation according to the type of cough .self medication may not be so helpful so please consult your doc. ctor once. if the cough is productive you can give brozeet-ls or ambrodil syrup for now only n continue only after doctor's advice.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. give steam to baby. Cold and cough may be just transient due to wheather changes . Steam can be guven to baby safely 2 to 3 times in a day . Asthakind LS drop can be given of the cough is troublesome .
