A. This age is called the terrible twos for a reason. So long we would have pampered the child. But slowly as they grow we would start to say reasonable NOs to the things they shouldn't be doing. This can be a big change for them. They cannot accept this denial and will start showing their disappointments as tantrums and through their aggressive behaviour. We have to be patient but also not give up and yield to their demands seeing their meltdowns. Try to make them understand in a way why they cannot get or do what they wish for. Hug them and say that you understand their feelings but explain that it is not right for them so they cannot get it or do it.
