A. For a 7-month-old baby starting solid food, begin with small portions—around 1-2 tablespoons of food once or twice a day. You can gradually increase the quantity as she gets used to eating solids. Initially, solids should complement breast milk or formula, not replace them. Aim to offer a variety of pureed fruits, vegetables, and cereals. Watch for cues from your baby, such as turning her head away or showing signs of fullness, to determine when to stop. Each baby is different, so the key is to go slowly and make sure she is still getting enough breast milk or formula for nutrition.
