#AskTheExpert I was 28 weeks and 5 days pregnant when I had my growth scan last week. The weight of my baby came 1.7kg, which is quite more than the dates as said by the sonographer. Also, the amniotic fluid amount is higher. However, she also mentioned, my baby has been following the same kind of trend of being a little more heavier than the days from the beginning. Also my sugar levels are normal after glucose test. both my doctor and sonographer are not sure what is happening. Can you please let me know, what could be the causes of this situation? and also, if this would cause any effect on my delivery date( EDD-21.09.2023)?
