The time between feedings will get longer (3 to 4 hours) as your baby's tummy grows and can hold more formula at each feeding.Apply a cold, damp compress to your child's bite.Apply a 1 percent hydrocortisone cream to the bite. This cream, which contains a steroid, should temporarily reduce or even alleviate the itching. ... Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to the bite several times a day.
