#asktheexpert I've 2 daughters 5 and 2 years old. It's been over 2 months and the cough isn't residing. They're on continous cough syrup yet ty tend to have it, especially during night. What to do ? Also my 2 years old daughter is sensitive to cold. Every month she gets this cold and extreme. montair lc is the syrup

Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasjional flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

I would suggest you to conduct an allergy test for both your kids seems like both of your kids are going through some kind of an allergy which is why this problem has been persisting once you get a check the allergy you figure out whether your child is suffering from it would be easier for you to start with right medicines for the kids
