A. Hello mom now is the correct age to start with weaning foods, you can initially introduce them to liquid consistency foods, such as dal, rice water , fresh fruit juices, vegetable soups etc , and gradually as the baby tend to accept them well move to semi solid & mashed consistency foods, such as suji, ragi, home made cerelac porrdige, kichidi, steamed vegetables, mashed soft fruits , curds etc add ghe to their meals, start one thing at a time, and gradually increase the quantity , variety and number of meals, and also alternate it with your feed.
