#AskTheExpert I'm 7th month pregnant. my wrist pain is there since one month. what to do and why it is happening?

A. you can consult with your doctor for proper examination or you can consult with an Orthopaedic doctor for wrist pain as it is not a common sign during pregnancy If in case you have written by mistake waist pain then you can just take adequate rest and it will get reduced

A. When you are pregnant, your hormone levels trigger fluid retention, which can cause swelling. This swelling can, in turn, push against the median nerve in the carpal tunnel – increasing pressure in the carpal tunnel and sometimes causing pain in your wrist and hand.
