Q.
#AskTheExpert I have taken my baby for vaccination ie.. six in one vaccine, pneumococcal and rotovirus in 6th week and the next dosage is due on 10th week.. now i want to change the hospital and planning to go for government provided immunization service.. will there any change in the vaccine company or medicine.. can i do that

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination.
Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before as per the schedule then also yutou should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine.
For polio vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .
